BendyGoal ("the app") is a flexibility-training app for gymnasts, dancers, and cheerleaders. We built it to respect your privacy. This policy explains what data the app handles.
The app has no account and no login, so we never learn your name, email address, or identity. Everything you enter — your onboarding answers, workout history, streaks, and progress notes — is stored only on your device and never leaves it, except through your own device backups (iCloud/Google), which are controlled by you and Apple/Google.
The one thing that does leave your device is anonymous product-usage analytics, described under Analytics below. It never includes anything you typed, and it is not linked to your identity.
Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple through your App Store account. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated, anonymous app user identifier and purchase/receipt information from Apple in order to verify your subscription. This data is not linked to your name, email, or any personal identity, because the app never asks for those. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy.
If you add progress photos, they are stored locally on your device only. We never upload them.
We use PostHog to understand how the app is used, so we can improve it — for example, how many people open the subscription screen and whether they subscribe. Each event carries a randomly generated, anonymous identifier and basic device context: device model, operating system version, app version, language, and country.
These events never contain your name, email address, workout notes, or progress photos — the app never asks for your identity, so it has none to send. This data is processed on PostHog's servers in the United States, and we use it only to analyse and improve the app. It is never used to build a profile of you, and it is never combined with data from other apps or websites. See PostHog's Privacy Policy.
We keep these events only as long as they remain useful for product analysis. Because they carry no identifier that we can tie back to you, we cannot look up or delete "your" events individually. If you are in the EU, EEA, or UK, this is off by default. Anywhere else, you can turn it off anytime in the app under Profile → Settings → Share anonymous usage data.
The app does not include third-party advertising, and it does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not sell any data.
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. It never asks for a name, email address, or any other identifying detail, and the anonymous usage analytics described above contain nothing that identifies a person.
Apple (payments & App Store), RevenueCat (subscription management), and PostHog (product analytics) are the only third parties involved, and only for the purposes described above.
If we update this policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
